MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Provides special education instruction for students that includes development of physical fitness, motor fitness, fundamental motor skills and patterns, dance, individual and group games, and sports. Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) is specifically designed physical education instruction and services for pupils with disabilities who have a substantial delay or disorder in physical development. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree with licensure in K-12 Developmental Adaptive Physical Education from Minnesota Department of Education. Teacher will provide physical education services to students in a self-contained setting, collaborating with paraprofessionals and member school district staff. CONTRACT/SALARY: Long-term substitute DAPE Teacher position working approximately 60 days beginning 9/3/2024. Salary depending upon education, qualifications, abilities and experience.
