As a Community Education music instructor, you will teach private lessons to students during the summer. These lessons would be offered in 30-minute increments. Flexible scheduling during weekdays, per instructor's availability.
Duties and Responsiblities:
* Create lessons and learning environments that are appropriate for all students with varying level of skills.
* Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
* Instructor must be able to make learning music fun and interesting for students.
* Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding progress and needs.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* MN Teaching License preferred, but may not be required based on experience.
* Knowledge and experience with a variety of instruments.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to stay focused and on task throughout class.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule.

* MN Teaching License - $30 per hour
* Non-License - $24.00 per hour
