Special Education Building Coordinator (SEBC)

Desired start date: July 1, 2024
Job Summary: The SEBC position is a leadership role that involves working closely with the building administration team to support students’ programming and their families and staff. This position will also focus on assisting special education staff with periodic subbing and special education evaluation completion.
The SEBC will act as a liaison between the building and the special education department. They must possess a strong understanding of due process, special education processes and procedures and problem-solving skills.
The SEBC must possess a special education teaching license and will be approved for an additional eight days added to the contract. Someone working on their administrative license is preferred but not required.
Minimum qualifications include:
* Bachelor’s Degree required
* MN teaching license in Special Education required
* Minnesota School Administrative Licensure is preferred but not required
