The School District of West Salem is right next door to La Crosse in the beautiful Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our 3 buildings are within walking distance of each other on an approximate 100-acre campus on the edge of town. Students in grades K-12 are issued MacBooks or iPads as part of its 1:1 digital learning environment. Having a passion for providing an exciting, meaningful, and rewarding experience for students is a must!

The district is looking for an ASL Interpreter for our elementary school to "Serve with passion to ignite creativity, innovation, and excellence."
Applicants should be energetic, creative and innovative and willing to provide their students with a 21st Century experience in the classroom and beyond.
Coaching and other co-curricular activity positions may become available at any time.

Qualifications
All sign language interpreters in Wisconsin are required to be licensed by the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction licensure #1348 American Sign Language.
A minimally qualified applicant must have experience providing American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services.
