Twin Cities International Schools is currently accepting applications for a Middle School (Grades 6-8) Art Teacher (FTE 1.0) for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. Applicants must currently hold a valid Minnesota teaching license or possess a valid Minnesota teaching license prior to hire. We are a K-8 public charter school located in the North Loop of Minneapolis with a total student enrollment of approximately 1,000 students.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Work collaboratively with Administration and middle school classroom teaching teams;
* Engage students in learning through best practice strategies, establishing high expectations for students;
* Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff;
* Plan, organize and deliver lessons consistent with MN state standards;
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all your students;
* Follow all policies and procedures teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates;
* Experience with standards-based instruction, English-Language Learners and common assessments a plus;
