Qualifications: * Valid teaching license in Science issued by the WI Department of Education - minimally grades 7-12 * Knowledge of state standards in the core curriculum areas the teacher is responsible for instructing * Experience and knowledge in a variety of Science content areas with the ability to instruct various courses * Understanding of how to utilize a variety of instructional and learning strategies to meet a wide range of student learning styles and abilities * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, district staff and community members * Ability to evaluate student performance both formative and summative and use the data to foster student learning * Excellent organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication skills * Willingness to explore and create new opportunities for students Extra-curricular opportunities may be available.
