POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant 1.0FTE START DATE: Immediate or 2024-2025 School Year POSTING DATE: March 15, 2024 APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open until filled MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree in Speech and Language Assistant; Bachelors Degree in Communicative Science (SLP) preferred. DESCRIPTION: SMEC is an education district made up of seven member districts that offer special education services and programming. The SLPA will be responsible for providing services to qualifying students in grades PreK-12 amongst various locations throughout the SMEC Consortium. SLPA will provide prescribed language, articulation, voice, and fluency practice to students as directed by the Speech Pathologist.
