MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Medical Careers Instructor will teach an introductory medical careers class and provide support to students that will be participating in a medical careers field experience class. The instructor will also work closely with medical and health care businesses/organizations and make periodic site visits. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree and Valid driver&#8217;s license are required. MN Medical Careers teaching license and MN teaching licensure from the Department of Education is preferred. Applicant must have a passion for working with high school age students, a background in the medical and healthcare field, strong technology skills, the ability to establish community partnerships, and the creativity to deliver the course so it is highly engaging for students. CONTRACT/SALARY: Part-time position for the 2024-2025 school year; working approximately 60 days. Hours are 8:00 am &#8211; 9:30 am.
