HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL in Sauk Centre, MN, has an Academic Interventionist/Paraprofessional position available for the 2024-25 school year.
MISSION: Holy Family School is an accredited Catholic elementary school. Our mission as students, parents, teachers, and staff, in partnership with our parish communities, is to reveal God's message in our daily way of life. We are committed to nurturing a faith-filled atmosphere where quality learning and spiritual growth occur.
This position will collaborate with grade-level teachers, primarily Kindergarten through third grade, regarding students needing additional reading and math support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine appropriate, research-based interventions and provide small-group interventions
Implement intervention with fidelity
Work with teachers, intervention teams, school personnel, families, students, and other agencies to support student success
Adjust intervention in response to student data
Record and analyze intervention data, including progress monitoring and intervention adjustments
Submit records in compliance with district and state guidelines
Record and analyze intervention data, including progress monitoring and intervention adjustments
Attend meetings and workshops that are required
Other duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Required
Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in multitasking
Quick learner who is willing to learn on the job
Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a calm, patient, understanding, creative, flexible, student-centered environment
Good human relations skills, team player, and professional demeanor
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Proficient with basic computer programs including but not limited to Google products
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student information at all times
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline and honesty.
A successful background check is required
Highly Preferred (not required)
Experience working in education or equivalent work experience in a support role position
Ability to obtain MN Teacher Licence or be working toward licensure
The specific duties of this position will depend upon the educational background and experience.
