Description: Riverside Christian School seeks an experienced, dynamic elementary school teacher who is called into ministry and committed to educate children to the highest levels, to instill Christian values in every child. Requirements: * A professing Christian with a deep appreciation for the culture and values of Riverside Christian School and the Grand Forks community. * Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or higher in Elementary Education. * Current State Teaching License. * 2-3 years teaching experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities and Expectations: * Agree to the School&#8217;s statement of faith and in all actions, glorify God. * Instruct all subjects from a biblical worldview. * Demonstrate Christ-centered positive rapport with students, parents, staff, and community. * Plan and prepare properly for instruction and student assessment, including submission of lesson plans and posting grades in a timely manner to the principal. * Provide accommodations for students learning abilities and styles when necessary. * Maintain a classroom atmosphere that inspires the love of learning. * Uphold professional standards of attitude, appearance, punctuality, courtesy and discretion. * Be knowledgeable in the use of technology for use in the classroom and other school functions. * Incorporate engaging lessons that include differentiating instruction and assessment. * Foster consistent communication with students and families regarding classroom activities and opportunities for student success. * Attend and support all assigned school functions. * Attend all faculty meetings. * Fulfill requirements to renew teaching license.
