Tiger Kids Club Program Lead Openings - Summer Session Tiger Kids Club is Delano School District&#8217;s Out of School Time program. We are part of a beautiful, west metro school district, known for our strong sense of community and high performing schools. Our community continually draws in new families because of these attributes. We are looking for staff to join our program in this growth and continued quality, which supports our school population and community. Schedule/Location: * This is a summer position, 6 to 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday during our summer program; this position runs June 3-August 23. * Our program is open between the hours of 6:45am-5:45pm, Monday-Friday. We serve families with children ages 33 months through the completion of 6th grade. * This position is located at the Delano Community Education Center, 140 Elm Ave Delano, MN. Responsibilities: * Provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all children. * Create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, aligned to the goals of Tiger Kids Club, in partnership with the program supervisor. * Provide enriching opportunities which contribute to children&#8217;s overall growth and development * Effectively communicate and build relationships with all parents and families. * Mentor and provide direction to high school aides. * Ensure a safe and secure classroom and program, with attention to the overall environment. * Work closely with the SAC team to provide quality care that is cohesive across all classrooms, times of day, and sessions. Qualifications: * Relevant experience working with children, ages 3-12 * Degree in, or currently seeking a degree in, early childhood education, elementary education, or a related field preferred, not required * Knowledgeable in child development and after school best practices * Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum * Willingness to supervise and delegate work to high school aides * Self-directed, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about children and providing quality out of school time care Salary/Benefits: Salary range: $14.66-$23.72 per hour, depending on experience and licensure; a benefits package is included for full time, 12-month staff.
