Positions available: Classroom Teacher (Multiple) - Grade level to be determined - Jefferson Elementary Location: Jefferson Elementary School, 318 South Payne Street, New Ulm, MN Job Summary: This position provides regular curricular instruction in language arts, math, social studies, health, social-emotional learning, and science. The successful candidate will carry out responsibilities as defined by the master contract, maintain high-quality communication and cooperation with stakeholders, and believe that all students can attain high levels of learning. Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development. Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices, and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and effective. Possesses the knowledge and skills to build effective educational experiences that benefit all students. Takes responsibility for the learning of our students and his/her own performance.
