Position: Art Teacher, 2024-2025 school year, 1.0 FTE School Overview Athlos Academy of St. Cloud is a public, tuition-free K-8 charter school. Our school offers a unique approach that empowers students to live fulfilling, responsible, and successful lives by building on our three foundational pillars: Prepared Mind, Healthy Body, and Performance Character. Athlos students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as a broad knowledge base and healthy lifestyle habits. Our school culture celebrates high academic achievement, fosters individual growth in fitness and Performance Character, and promotes regular family engagement. Responsibilities and Duties &#8226; Teaches art to elementary and middle school students &#8226; Plans, prepares and delivers art lessons that engage students and provides growth. &#8226; Ensures student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level. &#8226; Models the Athlos culture. &#8226; Responsible for tracking student attendance, behavioral issues and classroom events. &#8226; Participates in regular professional development. &#8226; Communicates with parent/guardians and the community professionally. &#8226; Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities. &#8226; Participates in the school's professional learning community to enhance learning objectives. &#8226; Meets professional obligations by honoring schedules and deadlines. &#8226; Collaborates with regular classroom teachers; cross-content lessons are encouraged &#8226; Any other assigned duties. Qualifications and Skills

     Education: Bachelor’s degree

     Experience: Classroom experience preferred

     Certification: Valid MN teacher certification or willingness to obtain
