POSITION: Head Girls Basketball Coach
START: 2024-2025 School Year: Season starts November 2024
HOURS: Vary based upon practice time and game schedule and times.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop student-athletes of character through the sport of Basketball, instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for practices and games. Assist with games, practices, and the supervision of athletes in the Basketball program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Complete MSHSL Head Coaching Course and subsequent modules before the 2024 season and have previous experience working with high school-age students. A strong background in Basketball as a participant and/or coach is required. Must have good communication and organizational skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, parents, community members, and students. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.
* Experience coaching education based athletics required
* MNHCC or Coaching License required
* Licensed teacher preferred
SALARY: $8,036 for the season
