Swanville Public Schools has a full-time opening for a K-12 Music Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates should have the ability to work as a team player in planning and teaching to create a positive learning environment, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will: &#183; Have a working knowledge of and implement the Minnesota State Standards, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students&#8217; learning styles and needs. &#183; Create lessons and learning environments that are safe, respectful and highly engaging. &#183; Collaborate and communicate regularly with families. &#183; Bring a positive attitude/energy to our team. Swanville School District #486 is located in Morrison County, with part of the district in Todd County, 15 miles west of Little Falls, 12 miles east of Long Prairie, and 25 miles north of Albany. We operate a single PK-12 School with a full range of services from preschool to 12th grade, including many extra-curricular activities. High School students are also able to take classes from colleges through interactive television or online.
