The Special Education Due Process Case Facilitator is a Teacher On Special Assignment with duties assigned by the Executive Director of Special Services, including but not limited to:
* Develop agenda and lead Case Management Team meetings
* Complete testing and observations for initial evaluations AND cover for SPED teachers to perform those tasks for reevaluations as agreed upon during CMT
* Assist in writing and finalizing Evaluation Reports
* Participate in team meetings as the district representative as needed
* Act as a due process paperwork resource to monitor compliance
* Mentor SPED teachers for due process paperwork
* Function as liaison between district level special services and special education building teams (information shared at CMT)
Report modifications to statewide testing instruments to district office
Qualifications:
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Physical Education Teacher License & DAPE and Health certification from the Minnesota Department of Education.
Salary and Benefits:
Annual Salary Range is according to education and experience.
