Special Education High School Teacher 24-25 - Maple Lake Public Schools Maple Lake School District Start date: 8/19/24 1.0 FTE Special Education High School Teacher Position Overview: The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing input, development, and implementation of individualized education programs tailored to students&#8217; post-secondary goals, ensuring they receive the necessary specialized instruction and accommodations. They collaborate with students, families, educators and community resources to facilitate a seamless transition from high school to post-secondary settings. The Special Education Teacher implements evidence-based strategies and interventions to foster academic, social, and independent living skills crucial for success beyond graduation. Qualification: * Current State of MN Teacher License * Special Education licensure in the areas of EBD, ASD, or ABS.
