The Austin Public School District is seeking to hire a Full Time ADSIS Reading Interventionist?effective for the 2024-2025?school year.

Degree Information:
BA or BS (MA preferred)
K-12 teaching license
Major field of study or degree emphasis:
Elementary Education
Reading Specialist license or Science of Reading training preferred
Job Summary:
The ADSIS Interventionist will provide direct instructional interventions for qualifying students, manages the data about students for whom intervention is provided, and collaborates with teachers and parents regarding students’ ADSIS qualification, progress resulting from interventions, and exiting the program. The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to students who are struggling academically.
Essential knowledge and specialized subject knowledge required to perform the essential functions of the job:
* Working knowledge of academic and social skills commensurate with the student’s age and developmental level.
* The ability to research and implement individualized interventions based on student’s needs.
* Understanding of data collection and analysis methods
