Special Education Teacher, 18-22 Transition Program, West Central Education District

West Central Education District is seeking a creative, innovative and energetic special education teacher for a new 18-22 program which will be located in the Paynesville community and serve students from the member districts of Sauk Centre, Melrose, Albany and Paynesville. The position is for the start of the 24-25 school year however, there will be additional days this spring and summer for the sake of program development. The program will have approximately 9 students this year with anticipated growth into the future. Paraprofessional support will be provided based on students' needs. Additional teaching staff will be added as the program grows. The teacher will case manage the students in the program, provide supervision to the paraprofessionals and coordinate the work based learning/job components.
