LCA has a close-knit staff and faculty who join together for prayer, Biblical Worldview training, celebrations, and staff development. As a LCA employee, it is essential and foundational to understand, live out, and agree wholeheartedly with Legacy&#8217;s Statement of Faith, Social Stances, Core Values, and the Profile of a Legacy Employee. This faculty member will teach Biology and Anatomy classes, while collaborating with other members of the Science Department. Job Requirements & Qualifications: &#9679; Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school&#8217;s Statement of Faith. &#9679; Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives found in science to their students&#8217; lives. &#9679; A demonstrated interest in science and a clear understanding of how to teach the above topics effectively. &#9679; Comfort with or openness to learning school management software and other online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and the Google suite. &#9679; Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students. &#9679; Prior teaching experience, a teaching license, and a graduate degree in Science is preferred.
