A fast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves more than 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12). We are seeking an experienced educator for the position of Early Childhood Program Manager. The Early Childhood Program Manager provides vision for and direct supervision of the early learning programs offered through Community Education. Programs include Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Wildcat Preschool, Parent Education, and School Readiness. The successful candidate will ensure excellence in student educational programming, coordinate with the Special Education Supervisor regarding Early Childhood Special Education programming, oversee Early Childhood Screening, and collaborate with elementary principals to provide smooth student transitions to K-5 programming. The successful candidate will also communicate the district's educational vision and philosophy to the employees, students, parents, and community. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (Full-Time, Year-round) Qualifications: An Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Family Education, or Parent Education license issued from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) is required. A minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Family Education, or Parent Education is required. A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree and supervisory experience are preferred. Compensation: Competitive salary depending on experience, plus a generous full-time benefits package that starts on the first day of employment.
