About Groves Summer Programs During the summer, we are pleased to offer students from the community a tailored, high-quality educational experience. Instruction at Groves is explicit, structured, and multi-modal. Teachers combine their experience and expertise with care and understanding, using a diagnostic-prescriptive approach to continually assess and address individual student needs. Our summer programs employ our proven philosophy of developing strengths and talents, remediating academic weaknesses, and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs. We offer programs for children entering grades 2-8 who have learning and/or attention disorders, such as dyslexia and ADHD. About the Groves Summer Program Teacher role The Summer Program Teacher plans and executes learning activities for a balanced program of instruction and demonstration. They provide an environment and culture in the classroom that engages students and helps them learn effectively. The small class size allows for individualized instruction and provides a collaborative atmosphere.
