Summer Special Needs Childcare Staff South Washington County Schools is looking for creative and collaborative individuals to join our Summer program! Our Child Care Inclusion Staff engage with all students, with a specific focus on children with additional needs and creating an inclusive environment. Job responsibilities include: * Plan and lead activities and games for students with a focus on inclusion * Lead inclusion based initiatives * Take attendance and communicate with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up * Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for our students * Serve as a coach and mentor for other program staff * Attend regular staff leadership meetings * Open and close program as needed Pay & Schedule: * Competitive pay at $22.50/hour * Monday through Friday, 6 to 8 hour shifts * Summer Programming runs June 6th through August 23rd Benefits: * Paid time off and holidays for part-time and full-time employees (30+ hours) * Very generous health insurance, including medical and dental, for employees working 30+ hours/week * Career advancement opportunities and paid training * 20% discount on childcare program tuition for employees Qualifications: * Some formal education experience is preferred but not required * One of the following; * High school diploma with 120 hours of relevant training and one year of experience in a related field * Associates Degree with 6 months of experience in a related field * Bachelor&#8217;s Degree with 3 months of experience in a related field We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and inclusion for all children.
