Head Varsity Softball Coach - Maple Lake Public Schools

Maple Lake High School is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and relationship-focused head softball coach. The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of softball and at the same time be looking for continuous growth and development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Ability to teach softball skills, organize practices, and prepare student-athletes for competition * Oversee softball program grades 7-12 * Coordinate or provide opportunities for summer training * Strong organizational skills, motivational skills, and communication skills * Have a plan to create a culture that provides support and encouragement while allowing student-athletes to be their best as students, athletes, and citizens * Provide direction, partnership and communication with youth programs for overall softball program development and youth program structure * Must be able to set and uphold expectations and work in partnership with the activities office to maintain a high-quality program Position is open until filled: Season starts March 10.
