The ALC serves at-risk students in grades 6-12 with unique programming. ZED has been in existence for over 30 years and is located in Kasson (MN). Job Summary: The Area Learning Center (ALC) Special Education Teacher would work with special education students in grades 6-12 at the ALC. Job duties would include managing a caseload of special education students, ensuring sped student needs are met per their Individual Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining all due process compliance including IEPs/evaluation reports and providing specialized instruction to qualifying students. Required qualifications: Be licensed by MDE in a special education teaching area for grades 6-12 or working towards licensure at time of employment.
