The Glencoe-Silver Lake School District is looking for a Paraprofessional for the Special Ed Early Childhood Learning Center to support students' academic and behavioral programming. This position is for 6.0 hours per week: Monday and Wednesday from 8:15 am to 11:15am. This is a B-21-rated position. Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with other educators under the direction of a teacher. This position requires individuals to be caring, patient and focused on achieving individual student goals. Other supervision duties such as lunch/recess may also be required.
Occasional lifting of 20 to 40 pounds or more may be required. A high school diploma is required. The school district requires applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment to submit to a criminal history background check.
