Director of Child Nutrition and Food Services
Description:
Foley Public Schools is accepting applications for a Director of Child Nutrition and Food Services. This position directs the District’s child nutrition program in conformance with local, state and federal regulations and requirements, including public health and safety.
We are actively seeking applications as they are submitted.
Start Date:
December 2, 2024
Responsibilities:
Maintain a financially sound Child Nutrition program.
Facilitates departmental improvements through the creation of a positive work environment, analyzing program needs, and development of program goals and action plans.
Determines staffing levels, hiring and supervision of employees, administering personnel policies, payroll preparation, employee contract management, and employee evaluations.
Provides regular training sessions for all food service employees in the area of food production, sanitation, point of sale software, USDA regulations, etc.
Compiles and submits all information to the State for the School Meals Nutrition Review as required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience, with any academic major or area of concentration, and either a School Nutrition Association (SNA) Level 4 Certification or at least one year of relevant food service experience.
Wage:
Negotiated based on experience.
