Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher to join our Early Childhood Learning Center. Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Learning, the Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lesson planning, curriculum development, and early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with young children. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that reflects the values of Catholic education. Responsibilities: * Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschool students * Develop curriculum that aligns with best practices in early childhood education and the goals of Catholic education * Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and the Director of Early Childhood Learning * Create a faith-filled learning environment that is nurturing and engaging for all preschool students * Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children * Use active listening and problem-solving skills to support the needs of students * Learn technology skills as required by the position * Perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary and/or assigned by the Director or Principal Qualifications: * Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and early childhood education * Fluent in Spanish and English * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with families * Knowledge of pre-kindergarten educational practices and techniques * Demonstrate willingness to learn technology skills as required by the position * Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children * Active listening and problem-solving skills * Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field (preferred) * DHS Teacher qualified, Teaching certification or licensure (preferred) Work Environment: * This is a full-time position located on-site at St. John Paul II Catholic School in Minneapolis, MN * The Lead Preschool Teacher will work under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Learning How to Apply: To apply, please email your resume, cover letter, and references to Christina Davis, Talent Recruiter, at cdavis@acamn.org<mailto:cdavis@acamn.org>.
