Our Kindergarten Dual Language Immersion Program is designed to foster bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding through a dynamic curriculum that immerses students in both English and Spanish.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic Kindergarten teachers who are fluent in Spanish and English and have a strong commitment to teaching young children in a bilingual and culturally rich environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in education, a deep understanding of the benefits of dual-language learning, and a drive for creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom that supports the development of the whole child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Kindergarten students in both Spanish and English (80/20 model), delivering instruction in core subjects (language arts, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning).
* Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that align with both district and state curriculum standards.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, ensuring both language acquisition and academic growth.
* Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to support the academic and social-emotional development of students.
* Participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
* Current MN Teaching Certification or equivalent experience allowing for a variance or provisional license.
* Fluency in both Spanish and English.
* Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for early learners.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for working with children and fostering a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with dual-language immersion programs or language acquisition strategies.
* Knowledge of literacy and language development in both Spanish and English.
