This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The qualified candidate will embrace the mission of Saint Thomas Academy. JOB DESCRIPTION The Director of Admissions will provide strategic leadership in managing all the Academy&#8217;s admission efforts, including recruitment, onboarding and retention. Working closely with the Admissions and Marketing teams, the Director will develop and implement data-proven approaches to meet enrollment goals. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethic are instrumental in the success of this position. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES &#9679; Manage all efforts of the Admissions Office in a manner that reflects and communicates a deep understanding of the mission and distinctive value proposition of Saint Thomas Academy. &#9679; Develop and implement a strategic enrollment plan to differentiate the Academy&#8217;s unique brand, while enhancing recruitment, retention, revenue generation, and constituent relations. &#9679; Further develop the Academy&#8217;s presence and position by building successful relationships with alumni families, churches, educational consultants, feeder schools, guidance counselors, community-based organizations, and coaches in strategic market centers. &#9679; Maintain ongoing contact with feeder school principals and teachers regarding admission-related events and procedures including setting up visits to schools during and after school. &#9679; Utilize data analytics and research to identify enrollment trends, assess admissions efforts, and inform strategic decisions regarding enrollment goals, including optimal, class size, retention rates, and new student recruitment. &#9679; Maintain the enrollment management database and programs used to track prospective students and applicants. &#9679; Develop and implement innovative strategies to meet or exceed enrollment goals across both divisions by analyzing enrollment and retention data to identify opportunities and changes needed. &#9679; Drive and execute innovative strategies to manage the enrollment journey from inquiry to decision, ensuring a clear, ethical, and thoughtful process throughout, with a consistent cadence of positive, personalized experiences for all, tailored to the needs of each family. &#9679; Organize and manage the following initiatives and events: o Catholic Grade School Visits/Presentations &#8211; September & October o Admissions Showcase &#8211; October o Entrance Exam Testing &#8211; select Saturdays in January, select weekdays January through July o &#8220;You&#8217;re In!&#8221; Create and distribute personalized acceptance packets to new students. o New Student Registration Night &#8211; March o Explore the Middle School &#8211; April o New Student & Parent Socials &#8211; May o Orientation for all new families &#8211; August o ACE (Authentic Cadet Experience) visit program for prospective students &#9679; Oversees prospective family school visits, tours and other admissions activities and events for both recruiting and retention. &#9679; Present information about the school in a compelling way during admissions events. &#9679; Collaborate with the retention committee to ensure a positive student experience throughout their academic journey, which contributes to a strong sense of belonging and loyalty to the Academy. &#9679; Coordinates the staffing of employees, students, and volunteers to meet admissions activities. &#9679; Prepares the admissions budget and operates the department with budgetary guidelines, including the budgeting and expenditures with the Business Office. &#9679; Maintains admissions and enrollment statistics and provides status and achievement reports to Leadership. &#9679; Oversees scholarship awards process, communication, reports, implementation and follow up. &#9679; Serves as school&#8217;s representative on the Catholic Schools Consortium, a group of enrollment professionals from the Twin Cities Catholic High Schools. &#9679; Serve as a thought partner with the President of the School and Administrative Leadership Team. &#9679; Manage the day-to-day operations of the admissions office and assist the team in coordinating the process for all prospective families, including inquiries, visits, applications, and admissions decisions. &#9679; Stay abreast of admission and enrollment best practices and regularly participate in professional development activities. JOB QUALIFICATIONS &#9679; Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a related field. &#9679; Five years of experience in a comparable educational, sales or non-profit environment. &#9679; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple people. &#9679; Experience with project management and taking projects from concept to completion. &#9679; Comfort with public speaking and presenting in front of large groups. &#9679; Strong customer service ethic and exceptional judgment. &#9679; Results-oriented and able to effectively prioritize work in a dynamic environment. &#9679; Extremely detail oriented with a strong attention to follow through. &#9679; Must be available to work a varied schedule of Sunday-Thursday and Monday-Friday. &#9679; Must have the ability to travel around Twin Cities community. &#9679; Customer Relations Management (CRM) software experience. &#9679; Proficiency in school administration systems, including Finalsite Enrollment Management &#9679; System (EMS), PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). &#9679; Proficient in all Google Workspace applications, with a strong focus on Google Sheets. &#9679; Knowledge of Catholic community and traditions. &#9679; Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
