Schedule:
* Monday - Friday - 6:30-9:00 am & 2:00 - 5:30 pm
* Early Dismissal Days - 6:30-9:00 am & 11:00 am - 5:30 pm
* Non-School Days & Summer - Hours Vary - Site is open 6:45 am - 5:30 pm

Position Purpose
The Kids Company & Wrap-Around Care Site Leader provides leadership and oversight of the Kids Company Camp and Wrap-Around Care programs at the Albany Area Early Learning Center. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and administering all daily activities for Kids Company & Wrap-Around Care and works collaboratively with the Coordinator and Program Leaders on overall site planning and program logistics.
Essential Functions
* Provide a well-organized and smooth functioning Kids Company and Wrap-Around Care program at the Albany Area Early Learning Center.
* Plan and coordinate developmentally appropriate activities.
* Oversee and direct Kids Company and Wrap-Around Care program staff.
* Work collaboratively with Program Leaders on overall site planning and program logistics.
* Assist Kids Company Coordinator with overall program planning at sites.
* Maintain necessary records, including important student information and registration materials.
* Other duties as assigned.
Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, copy machine, and telephone.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships with others, including colleagues, staff, volunteers, students, and parents.
* Teamwork mentality
* Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
* Organizational and time management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, and others
* Ability to adapt to and program for ever-changing community needs
* Ability to creatively solve job-related issues.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
* Ability to lift fifteen pounds.
Qualifications Profile
* Experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity required.
* Associate’s Degree in education or related field preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Starting wage: $16.06-$19.33/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Benefit per AESP Master Agreement, which can be found on the Human Resources page of the Albany Area Schools website.
