K-8 Physical Education Teacher Position Aspen Academy 2024-2025 School Year and Beyond Aspen Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic K-8 Physical Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy habits among students of all grade levels. Position Overview: The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that encourages students to engage in physical activity, develop motor skills, and build an understanding of the importance of health and wellness. Responsibilities: * Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons for students in grades K-8. * Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork. * Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth. * Ensure a safe and engaging environment by managing equipment and supervising activities. * Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and student development. * Promote healthy lifestyle choices and the importance of lifelong physical activity. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field (required). * Valid teaching license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one (preferred). * Strong classroom management and organizational skills. * Passion for working with students of all grade levels and abilities. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Compensation and Benefits: * Salary: $43,000.00 - $55,000.00, based on experience and qualifications. * Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for comprehensive benefits.
