Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs and will work collaboratively with families, general education teachers, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote student success. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. * Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of settings, including resource rooms, inclusion classrooms, and one-on-one sessions. * Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure an inclusive learning environment. * Use data-driven practices to monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary. * Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and self-advocacy. * Communicate regularly with families and guardians to share student progress and provide resources for at-home support. * Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education. Qualifications: * Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota through PELSB). * Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Special Education or a related field. * Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferred but not required. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
