We are actively actively seeking enthusiastic School Nurse typically with a Bachelor in Nursing with a Public Health Nurse certificate and the ability to obtain a School Nurse License to join our team and provide exceptional nursing care for children throughout the school year. This is a unique opportunity to work in a school health office, promoting student well-being and creating a positive impact on our student population. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, health screenings, and emergency interventions. * Develop, implement, and monitor individual health care plans for students with specific medical needs. * Administer medications and ensure compliance with medical protocols and school policies. * Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to address student health concerns. * Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with district policies and state regulations. * Promote health education initiatives and wellness programs within the school community. * Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers. * Knowledge of medical disorders and treatment. * Knowledge of grouth and development. * Working knowledge of Federa, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services. * Ability to develop and foster positive relationships with the students, staff and parents of the district. Qualifications: * Bachelor in Nursing with a Public Health Nurse certificate * Licensed School Nurse preferred * CPR and First Aid Certification required. * Previous experience in pediatrics, public health, or school nursing is an asset. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school setting.
