IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION (ISS) PARAPROFESSIONAL
7 hours/day
Remainder of the 2024 - 2025 School Year
Location: Mora High School
Job Duties include: Supervise and support academic, emotional and behavioral activities during in-school suspension, lunch room, study hall and online student support.
* Oversee and manage In-School Suspension (ISS) operations.
* Supervise student behavior in lunchrooms and hallway settings.
* Track and report student attendance and disciplinary incidents.
* Process low-level disciplinary actions.
* Maintain accurate data records.
* Assistant and maintain with the appropriate staff for student intervention
* Communicate with staff and parents
* Assist PTCC Healthcare Classes with laundry as needed
Qualifications: Successful completion of Para exam, or 2 years post HS education (AA degree or 60 semester credits) required. Base knowledge in math, english and science.
Experience working in small group settings and with student data programs. Must be self-directed, supportive, and collaborative to meet student and staff needs.
