Saint John the Baptist Catholic School in Jordan is looking for a preschool teacher to join our great team and work with our 4s and 5s starting in fall 2025. The ideal candidate will be qualified as a preschool teacher according to DHS rules. He or she should show a great love for preschoolers and an understanding of how to help them grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Catholic education is at the heart of the evangelizing mission of the Church to “Go and make disciples” (Mt 28:19). Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, as a vital part of this evangelizing mission, strive to provide an education that is authentically Catholic: a formation of the whole person in the light of Jesus Christ. Employment in and by the Church is substantially different from secular employment. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their behavior must not violate the faith, morals, or laws of the Church or the Archdiocese such that it can embarrass the Church or give rise to scandal. It is required that this employee be an active, participating Roman Catholic. Active participation means going to Mass each and every Sunday, as well as all Holy Days of obligation, and regularly participating in the Sacramental life of the Church.

We have many new families as well as families in their fourth or fifth generation of being at Saint John’s.
