The coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations of the community education program including but not limited to senior and youth programming, facility scheduling/billing, marketing of programs and development of community ed brochures. Candidate will need to be able to work independently with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities include: 1. Senior and youth programming -Coordination/planning of the events (youth football, basketball, soccer, comp cheer, track camp, Adult trips, etc.) including: -Scheduling/planning (dates, times, locations) and reserving space for each event -Creating online catalogs with programming -Manage and monitor class registrations -Making any real-time weather-related cancelations or reschedules and contacting necessary people -Coordination of coaches &#8211; recruiting them, training for program, running rosters for them -Equipment/Uniform coordination and delivery to coaches/students and inventory at end of season. -Oversee payments needed for coaches, refs, workers if needed -Youth League Meetings contact and coordinator -Arrange for paying league fees, tournament entry fees and supplies 2. Creation of print brochures and coordinate distribution to students and community 3. Assist in maintaining facilities calendar and billing usage of facilities 4. Marketing of community education programming, including Preschool and Knights Kids 5. Assist with any coordination needs in Preschool and Knights Kids Programs Work Hours 32 hours per week during school year and 20 hours per week during summer. Hours and days are somewhat flexible. May include some evening and weekends depending on activities Compensation Compensation in accordance with the Education Support Professionals Agreement found on the website at kw.k12.mn.us under staff/employee contracts.
