Position Summary:
This position is for a long term substitute for an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher in a co-taught preschool classroom. The position performs professional work providing a broad range of direct instructional services to children with special needs and their peers in an inclusion classroom. The ECSE teacher often provides oversight of a classroom paraprofessional(s), and networks closely with all related services professionals including community agencies. The position includes all duties of an ECSE teacher, including IEP writing and ongoing assessments; training will be provided as needed.
Qualifications:
MN Teaching License in the area of Early Childhood Special Education or related services. Consistent and reliable attendance.
FTE/Schedule:
Long Term Substitute April 28 - June 6
Daily Hours 7:45-3:10, Class Times 8:15-10:45 and 12:15-2:45
1.0 FTE
Rate of Pay:
Based on candidates education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement
Benefits offered for this position are as listed -- Teaching Long Term Substitute:
Eligible for Health and Dental Insurance (single or family) after 12 weeks of uninterrupted service as a long term substitute for the same teacher or for any other professional covered by the OEA Master Agreement.
