We are seeking a leader who has either school-level leadership experience or a strong elementary background or can demonstrate the ability to grow into an exceptional school leader. This collaborative leader must be able to work with staff to improve academic outcomes and help improve the overall school experience for students. We are looking for a leader who has a strong commitment to academic excellence and demonstrates the highest levels of performance expectations and moral conduct. The principal must provide consistent and appropriate discipline, have strong communication skills, be visible in our communities, and be approachable to staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders. Applicants must be eligible for/hold a current Principal License in Minnesota. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Schools serves approximately 450 students. The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Elementary School was a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2018. This candidate will be supported by a Dean of Students/Activities Director, school social workers, and an experienced team of administrative assistants. The Principal also serves as part of the Superintendent&#8217;s Administrative Team working collaboratively to help make and carry out district-level decisions.
