The Goodhue County Education District (GCED) serves 6 member school districts in southeastern Minnesota with a total enrollment of approximately 7,000 pupils. The Education District employs 140 staff, has an annual budget of approximately $13 million, and has been recognized for its partnerships with other service agencies. GCED operates a Federal Setting IV program, an 18-21 year-old Transition Program, Title III/Multilingual programming, Alternative Education options, Regional Perkins/Career and Technical Education support, a full online school (5RiversOnline), and related specialized services (Early Childhood Special Education, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Blind/Visually Impaired, etc.).
The River Bluff Education Center is currently seeking qualified individuals for a Building Substitute position for the 2025-2026 school year. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting special education and ALC students, with a focus on fostering student growth and achievement. This position is full-time, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and follows the school district's academic calendar.
Qualifications: Minnesota Special Education Teaching License issued by the Minnesota Department of Education.
Salary/Benefits: In accordance with the Goodhue County Education District labor agreement.
