The Goodhue County Education District (GCED) serves 6 member school districts in southeastern Minnesota with a total enrollment of approximately 7,000 pupils. The Education District employs 140 staff, has an annual budget of approximately $13 million, and has been recognized for its partnerships with other service agencies. GCED operates a Federal Setting IV program, an 18-21 year-old Transition Program, Title III/Multilingual programming, Alternative Education options, Regional Perkins/Career and Technical Education support, a full online school (5RiversOnline), and related specialized services (Early Childhood Special Education, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Blind/Visually Impaired, etc.). Position: 1.0 Secondary Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Licensure: Secondary Science (any discipline) and/or other Minnesota Licensure with a willingness to pursue an Out-of-Field Permission.
