Three Special Education Teachers 1.0 FTE Hinckley-Finlayson High School JOB DESCRIPTION: Hinckley-Finlayson High School is seeking three 1.0 Special Education Teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Two positions are working within our EBD program and one position is working with SLD Math. Hinckley-Finlayson is a rural school district in east-central MN that celebrates learning! We offer students and families a wide range of tools to make their education successful. Our caring staff is dedicated, passionate and committed. QUALIFICATIONS: Current MN Licensure in Special Education in ASD, DCD, EBD, SLD, ABS, or DAPE RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to: • Work with a variety of students within any disability area • Must have good written and verbal communication skills • Must be able to create thorough lesson plans and implement them effectively • Must be able to do assessments for purposes of determining special education eligibility • Must have good data collection expertise and the ability to monitor student progress • Must be a good collaborator and team player • Must be able to work with and supervise paraprofessionals APPLICATION PROCESS: Application material would include a cover letter, a resume, transcripts, license and 3 letters of recommendation.
