RTR ELEMENTARY (PreK-5) PRINCIPAL OPENING Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (RTR) Public Schools is seeking a (PreK-5) Elementary Principal with a current MN license in Professional Administrative Principal K-12, or the ability to obtain this licensure. Principal salary and benefits are dependent on educational degrees and work experience. The RTR School District is a rural southwest MN school district with approximate enrollment of 720 students; encompassing the Minnesota communities of Russell, Tyler, and Ruthton. The RTR School District just opened a new (PreK &#8211; 12) facility in Tyler, MN in September 2021. See District Webpage: rtrschools.org<mailto:david.marlette@rtrschools.org> Successful Elementary Principal Candidate must meet the following needs of the District: &#8226; Execute the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals to support success for all students. &#8226; Drive instructional improvements by implementing proven student growth strategies. &#8226; Facilitate the design and implementation of rigorous, standards-based instruction. &#8226; Drive decision making with data, always be transparent, and then motivate staff to improve. &#8226; Provide strong and collaborative leadership with an honest, transparent, and inclusive style. &#8226; Demonstrate commitment to high academic, social-emotional, and whole child development. &#8226; Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students, staff, and families. &#8226; Adhere to all Federal/State education mandates and regulations such as IDEA, 504, and Title IX. &#8226; Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, policies, and collective bargaining agreements. &#8226; Enforce guidelines and policies for staff and students to maintain proper discipline and conduct. &#8226; Engage effectively with the District Office on personnel, equipment, supplies, and budgets. &#8226; Promote a positive school climate to encourage leadership and to actively engage in learning. &#8226; Advocate for family and community engagement in support of all school initiatives. &#8226; Demonstrate high level communication skills with ability to foster strong relationships. &#8226; Demonstrate knowledge of technology for instruction, management, and communication. &#8226; Demonstrate success as an educational leader with proven ability to raise achievement scores.
