Rothsay Public School is seeking applicants for a PreK-6 Elementary Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Rothsay is conveniently located on I-94, eighteen miles northwest of Fergus Falls and forty miles southeast of Fargo-Moorhead. Job Summary: The Elementary School Principal is an educational leader and administrator that promotes the success of every student by facilitating the development and implementation of district initiatives and vision of learning. Professional Responsibilities: * Serve as the educational leader and administrator within the building. * Directs and supervises instructional staff and support staff within the building. * Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with state and district standards. * Monitor student progress and implement data-driven decision making for academic achievement. * Support teachers with instructional strategies, professional development, and evaluation. * Serves as a liaison between the school, parents, community and the school board. * Handle matters of discipline, attendance, and enforce school district policies. * Serve as Title I Coordinator * Serve as District Assessment Coordinator * Supervise Tiger Cub Club childcare center * Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Qualifications: * Valid MN Principal License * Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience * Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal expertize Rothsay School offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including a starting salary range of $90,000 or more, based on experience.
