Position: Social Studies Teacher School: Yeshiva of Minneapolis (YOM) Location: St. Louis Park, MN School: YOM is a Jewish private high school that opened in August 2012. The school is a combination of both religious and general studies. The religious studies make up the morning portion of the day, with general study core classes (5 periods) running from approximately 3:30 – 6:55 PM (Monday – Thursday) Fridays OFF! This makes an ideal addition to a .5-.7 public school teaching schedule. Job Description: YOM is currently seeking teacher applicants for a full-time Social Studies position for the 2025-2026 school year. Courses taught will likely include World History, U.S. History, and/or American Govt./Econ. Candidates with multiple licenses are encouraged to apply (Social Studies Lic. required); differentiated instruction and teaching in an interdisciplinary environment are preferred. You must be passionate about student success and preparing students for post-secondary education. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and a valid MN teaching license is required. Experience preferred. Compensation: $47,500-$55,000 - based on experience, education level and number of courses taught.
