Job Summary:
Mahtomedi Public Schools is seeking a highly-talented School Psychologist to join our team at Mahtomedi High School. This position is responsible for approximately 35 evaluations per year and fulfilling departmental leadership responsibilities at the High School. The psychologist receives an additional $2375.00 stipend as the building lead.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conducts psychological assessments, functional behavioral analysis
* Facilitates communication between teachers, administrators, parents and students to find solutions to academic, behavioral, and mental health problems
* Provides psychological counseling based on IEP goals and objectives
* Evaluates the effectiveness of academic and behavioral management programs being used; disseminates research for use in evaluations and programs
* Participate in data-team (screening/progress monitoring) and child-study team (individual problem-solving) meetings
* Serve as knowledgeable resource for team members regarding due process rules and procedures
* Facilitates the team in determining paraprofessional schedules
* Attend Special Education Advisory Committee meetings
* Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Student Support Services
