This position will be responsible for classroom instruction in grades 7-12 as decided by strengths and licensing of the instructor. Possible classes: Earth and Space, Biology, Physical and Life Sciences, and electives. Position is 1.0 FTE. Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, evaluating and assessing student performance, and communicating student progress with parents/guardians and reporting student performance for local and state records. Coaching and advisory positions may also be available. Job Qualifications: Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and science area required. Long Term Sub positions are paid at BA, Step 1 level for factoring rate per day. BA, Step 1 = Annual Salary of $42,900 or $235.71 per day.
