Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Nutrition Coordinator will assist in the planning, directing and coaching of Nutrition Services Head Cooks and other staff in the management of kitchen efficiencies and operations. Independent judgement and analysis; provides on-site operations training, coaching, leadership, guidance and management opportunities for the Head Cooks and staff in the district’s food service program. All work is performed under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services.
This position will regularly travel to schools to ensure quality control compliance and support overall production and workflow. This position will also fill in for absent managers and staff on an as needed basis. Must be comfortable working with quantity, food production and management of kitchens.
- Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year
- Benefits: Health, Dental, 403b
- Hours/Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Days/Year: 184 days
- Hours and days of service are established by the school district and are subject to change according to district needs.
- Evaluation: A continuous performance improvement process will be developed and implemented with the supervisor.
