Saint Andrew Catholic School (Elk River, MN) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. As a Catholic school committed to academic excellence and faith formation, we are looking for an educator who will inspire students to grow intellectually and spiritually while fostering a love for mathematics and science.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach middle-school level Math and Science curriculum
2. Teach one Homeroom section including Religion studies
3. Develop engaging lesson plans that meet academic standards and promote critical thinking, integrating Catholic values into lessons
4. Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences in the classroom
5. Create a positive and supportive learning environment
6. Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods
7. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success
8. Participate in school events, professional development, and faith-based activities
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field
2. Current State of Minnesota Teaching License (or willingness to obtain)
3. Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
4. Experience teaching middle school students, preferably in a Catholic school setting
5. Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
