Activities Director
* Oversee all MSHSL activity programs and extra-curricular programs of ISD #2170
* Provide mentoring and evaluation of the coaching staff and extra-curricular advisors.
* Maintain district activities/coaches handbook.
* Follow Academic Eligibility Policy, monitor and enforce all MSHSL Rules & Bylaws, maintain & monitor MSHSL Master Eligibility List for all athletics and extracurricular programs, and monitor absence and grade information of students participating in extracurricular activities as related to district policy.
* Organize and schedule all athletic contests and assist in scheduling all practice sessions.
* Arrange for facilities, supplies, game officials, and transportation
* Oversee activity fees and fundraising.
* Attend Conferences as needed
Community Education
* Facilitate the staff and financial operations of the following programs for the school district:
* Adult & Youth Enrichment / Recreation Activities
* Summer Recreation Activities for Youth
* Drivers Education Program
* General Community Education
* Adventures After School Program
* Manage the NEST Activities and programming
Preferred Qualifications
* Administrative experience preferred but not required
* Community Education license preferred but not required
* Experience as an Activities Director preferred but not required
* Head Coaching Experience
* Budget Management Experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
* Must have an understanding of the organization and facilitation of education and recreational programming.
* Must have a positive and cooperative attitude in working with the Superintendent
* Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral communication as well as social media platforms.
* Must have abilities to manage finances related to Extracurriculars and Community Education
